Restart your Career
‘Restart’ provides people with the opportunity to gain the qualifications required to work within the leisure industry and begin a new career. Following successful completion of the recruitment process and acceptance of the job offer, you will have the opportunity to obtain fully funded nationally recognised qualifications that will enable you to start your new career with Tees Active.

Sector Based Work Academy Programme (SWAP)
Working in conjunction with Jobcentre Plus and Eden Training Academy, Tees Active can offer individuals aged 19+ receiving unemployment benefits a free 4 week bespoke pre-employment training programme to help improve job prospects. The programme covers a wide range of areas providing a great pathway to gain valuable work experience, essential skills, and qualifications. Following completion of the 4 week programme participants will be guaranteed an interview with Tees Active.
Work Placement Opportunities
We are offering a valuable work placement opportunity for students currently enrolled in a sport related course. This opportunity will provide students with first hand experience of working in the leisure sector, with the ultimate goal of inspiring the next generation to pursue a rewarding career in leisure.
