Are you seeking a career change or a fresh start in the leisure industry, but lack a valid Pool Lifeguard or Learn to Swim Qualification, we have an opportunity for you.
Upon successfully completing our recruitment process and accepting the job offer, you will have the opportunity to undertake one of the below fully funded training courses.
To become a pool lifeguard you must first complete your NPLQ, a course which is broken into three sections:
1: The Lifeguard and the Law, Swimming Pool Supervision | 2: Intervention and Rescue and Emergency Action Plans | 3: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, AED and First Aid
To become a swimming teacher there are two qualifications to gain:
Level 1 | Swim England Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) course which is the first step and it allows you to support a Level 2 Swimming Teacher to coach sessions.
Level 2 | Swim England Level 2 Teaching course which will enable you to lead on delivery of the Learn to Swim and/or School Swimming sessions.
Minimum of 30 hours shadowing time is required in between courses.
18hrs per week - Evenings and Weekends
34hrs - Evenings and Weekends
