Tees Active have relaunched their water safety roadshows initiative to coincide with National Drowning Prevention week which runs from 13th – 20th June 2026 in a bid to reduce the number of accidents and drowning incidents across the North East and beyond.

The free programme is designed to specifically support people with lived experience of cancer through gentle, inclusive physical activity and opportunities to connect with others in a supportive environment.
