We invest every penny to build active and healthy communities

Our Mission

About Us

Tees Active is a leading charitable trust providing sport, leisure and wellbeing services to communities in partnership with Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. We are passionate about the power of physical activity and believe that everyone should have equal opportunities to enjoy the abundance of health benefits associated with leading an active and healthy lifestyle. As a non-profit-distributing social enterprise, we combine the principled ethos of the public sector with the commercial agility of the private sector to provide a supportive, successful and sustainable service for future generations.

Our Values define who we are and what we do

Energise

We inject energy and passion into everything we do. We drive innovation and embrace change to spark passion, inspire creativity and motivate everyone to accomplish their goals.

Engage

We stand for collaboration, trust and transparency. Guided by a shared vision, we are committed to engaging with our partners, workforce and customers to achieve collective goals and boost community wellbeing in a clear, honest and responsible way.

Excellence

We strive for excellence and aim to exceed expectations, every time. Propelled by our reputation, we go the extra mile because it is who we are, acting with passion, integrity and intent. We aspire to be an
influential and industry-leading voice within the public leisure sector.

Enrich

We enrich lives through
encouragement, experience and enjoyment. We champion community wellbeing and inspire healthy lifestyles by advocating an inclusive environment where everyone can feel positive, have fun and thrive in their community.
