Visitors to three of Tees Actives venues, Splash, IB Leisure and Billingham Forum can now feel more confident about what to expect as they will be able access videos which will give them a tour of the facility and more importantly there are numerous pop up information boxes that will provide in depth information around specialised accessibility features that are available.

Patients and Staff Get Active in The Great Outdoors

A group of patients with a lived experience of cancer and a group of clinicians and NHS support staff had a unique experience on the River Tees as they took to the water in Bell boats piloted by Tees Active staff based at Tees Barrage International White Water centre.

Restart A Heart 2025

Tees Active were delighted to take part in the national Restart a Heart initiative on 14th – 16th October across our venues. Short 15-minute sessions running at peak times across the day invited passers by to take part and learn essential lifesaving CPR skills and practice the fundamentals of resuscitation, chest compressions and defibrillation.

The deck of HMS Trincomalee was transformed into a theatrical spectacle as Forum Theatre Billingham officially launched this years festive pantomime The Further Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan with a dazzling press event at the National Museum of the Royal Navy in Hartlepool.
