“We invest every penny to build active and healthy communities”

Welcome to Tees Active

Tees Active is a leading charitable trust, dedicated to raising the physical and mental wellbeing of communities in Stockton-on-Tees. We are passionate about the power of physical activity and believe that everyone should have equal opportunities to enjoy the abundance of health benefits associated with leading an active and healthy lifestyle.

As a not-for-profit social enterprise, we reinvest every penny back into our services to provide a supportive, successful and sustainable service for future generations, and it is our vision for everyone to be educated and empowered to pursue an active lifestyle.

We are at the heart of our community and are proud to offer a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. We are committed to reducing inactivity and believe that cultivating partnerships and working collaboratively is the key to achieving the social, environmental and economic ambitions of the local area.

Since our formation in 2004, Tees Active has been a central strategic partner to the local authority, seamlessly integrating into Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s operations and working as one team to improve health outcomes across the Borough.
