Tees Active Account Functionality

A Tees Active account gives you the power to manage your entire Tees Active experience all in one place. You can view timetables and book activities, as well as view your payments, memberships and update your personal records. We’ve created these FAQs to help you get the most out of you Tees Active online account.
You can book most of our activities online by following the information on this page. Some activities operate a separate booking system which can be found here – Air Trail, GoClimb, Watersports. Ice Skating does not need to be booked in advance.
If you do not hold an Activ8 membership or Tees Active savings card, simply head over to our online platform here and select ‘I’m new and would like to sign up’. Then complete all of the fields and click create. You will then be sent a confirmation email, click the link in your confirmation email and you’re good to go!
If you currently hold an Activ8 membership or Tees Active discount card, visit the site here and select ‘I’m a member but need to create an online account’. Then you’ll need to sign up using the email address connected to your membership and the membership number on your card or band. Once you’ve completed all of the fields and clicked create, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Click the link in this email and you’re all set.
If you’re an existing member and have followed the steps above to create an existing member account but you’re getting an error message when you click create, this means we do not have the correct email address for you on our system. Try using a previous email address to sign up, if you still have access to this account, or contact us to update your details. Once updated, you will be able to create an account.

You can also organise your child’s Learn to Swim and Learn to Skate direct debits once you have been enrolled onto either scheme withing your account.
If you’re wanting to join Activ8 Health & Fitness with either a student, apprentice, under 16’s or corporate membership we recommend making an appointment to speak with our team in one of our venues. These memberships can only be purchased in person as we need to see proof of entitlement. Head over to the Activ8 website here to contact the team and they’ll be in touch as soon as possible.
If you’re wanting to sign up to the Tees Active LiveWell discount card you need to be in receipt of qualifying benefits. Head over to our discount card webpage here to check the qualifying criteria and visit any of our venues to obtain your card (proof of eligibility required).

You can book a range of activities which includes fitness classes and virtual fitness classes, swimming, soft play, racket sports and sauna and steam sessions.
You can see the bookings that you’ve made in the ‘My Bookings’ section of your account. From here you can easily rebook your favourite sessions and cancel any sessions you’re unable to attend.
You can easily cancel any of your bookings within your account by heading to the ‘My Bookings’ section of your member area, finding the class you want to cancel and clicking the ‘cancel’ button on the chosen activity.
If you paid for a session through your online booking account, you’ll need to contact the venue of the activity directly via telephone and the team will rearrange your booking for you so long as you’ve contacted within the cancellation period.

Please be aware that any cancellations need to be made at least 1 hour before the session is due to start. From 1st April debts will be added for any sessions that you have not attended or cancelled in time and booking accounts locked until the debt is paid.
It is really important to cancel your activity so that we know who will be in attendance at the particular sessions and also so we can make the spaces available again for other members and customers.
For members please be aware that any cancellations need to be made at least 2 hours before the session is due to start. A 50p charge will be added for any sessions that have not been attended or cancelled in time and booking accounts will be locked until the small debt is paid.

You can easily cancel any of your bookings within your account by heading to the ‘My Bookings’ section of your member area, finding the class you want to cancel and clicking the ‘cancel’ button on the chosen activity.

Within the ‘Online Booking’ section of your member area you can easily narrow down the amount of activities shown by using the filters provided. Once you have selected your venue and date of visit, you can use the ‘What do you want to do’ heading in the filters section to easily choose your favourite fitness classes or sessions. This will then only show the activities/sessions selected. You can also use the ‘time’, ‘locations’ and ‘availability’ sections to filter sessions even further.
If you want to see all of the fitness classes or activities for a certain day, simply click either the ‘Classes’ or ‘Activities’ filter option that you don’t want to see. This will leave the selection you do want to see in blue and show only these sessions.
Yes! Once you’ve selected your filters, whether this be for certain activities or fitness classes, you can easily save your filter for future use by clicking the ‘Save My Filter’ button underneath the filter section.
You certainly can! If the fitness class or activity you’re wanting to book is full, simply click ‘Notify me of a space’ underneath the class/activity and if a space becomes available you will receive an email notification with a link to book the space!
You can check in up to 180 minutes before the fitness class begins either with the venue’s reception team or by using one of the dedicated check in kiosks that can be found near reception or outside the studio.

If the online booking timetable isn’t loading for you, clear your browsers cookies and cache. This will reset the timetable and should fix any issues you’re having.
When there are a lot of users on the timetable at once, it can be slow to load. We appreciate your patience during these times.
Through your Tees Active online account you can book for yourself and up to 2 children for certain activities like swimming and soft play. You can also purchase a family swimming pass which covers 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children or book a court which covers more than one person (i.e. badminton and squash). Otherwise you can only book activities for yourself.
Each adult needs their own online booking account to be able to book activities unless booking the activities mentioned above.
Junior Activ8 members also need to create their own online booking account to book themselves into age appropriate fitness classes and swim sessions.
If you’re being charged for sessions that should be included within your membership, we ask that you check your membership is connected to your Tees Active online account. You can do this by checking the ‘My Memberships’ section of your account. Unfortunately, if you have signed up for your Tees Active online account as a new member and not an existing member using the membership number on your card or wristband, your membership won’t be linked to your account. If this is the case, please contact us and we will delete your current Tees Active online account so you can create another that is linked.
If your membership is showing in the ‘My Membership’ section of your member area but you’re still being charged for sessions that should be free, please contact us and let us know which sessions you are being charged for and the venue this is at and we’ll resolve this as quickly as possible for you.

If we have unfortunately had to cancel a fitness class, our teams contact everyone booked onto the class as soon as it is cancelled to let you know. To ensure you are made aware of the cancellation, please make sure that your phone number and email address is up to date. You can do this in the ‘My Detail’s section of your account.
If you have a Tees Active LiveMore or LiveWell discount card, your card’s membership number must be linked to your Tees Active online account for the discounts to be applied. You can check if your membership is connected within your account in the ‘My Memberships’ section.
If this isn’t showing, you can reach us via social media, or speak with a member of the team next time you’re in the venue and we’ll get this resolved as quickly as possible for you.
If your account is locked you will be unable to make any bookings until your account has been unlocked and the debt has been paid.

We have implemented the above to improve our customer experience by maximising our capacity to our bookable sessions and avoid people booking sessions and not attending.
If you do have a debt you can easily see them on your account and pay for them online by logging into our online booking platform and heading to the ‘My Debts’ section of your member area.

You certainly can! It’s really important that your details are kept up to date so we can reach you with important information. Simply log in to your Tees Active account, head over to the ‘My Details’ section of your member area and you can update your:
You can see a full payment schedule, including your last membership or pay-as-you-go payment, in the ‘My Payments’ section of your member area within the online platform.
Credits won’t show on your online booking account. If you have any credits, you can use these to book a session in person at the venue the credits allocated for.
Once you have logged into your Tees Active online account you can find the registration and online booking terms and conditions in the ‘My Documents’ section of your account.
