A Tees Active card offers you huge savings on a wide variety of activities across all of our venues and there are a number of options available to ensure everyone can access affordable leisure opportunities. We want to support and empower our communities to lead and active lifestyle at a fair price, so if you want to start moving more and paying less, a Tees Active card is exactly what you need!
Anyone can register for a free account and book pay-as-you-go activities online. You can also view and buy memberships online via your account. Register for a free account now.
Option 1 and 2 Tees Active cards are valid for 12 months from date of purchase. The card will not auto renew, however you can easily make another payment and extend your membership for the following year.
Option 3 cards will be valid until the end date given on the evidence provided.
The option 1 card is great for individuals or families who want to save money on many great Tees Active activities. This option is available to everyone, whether you live in Stockton-on-Tees or visit from outside the area.
The option 1 card can be purchased online or in any of our venues. To buy online quickly and easily, you will need to register for a free online account first before simply navigating to the ‘membership’ section and choosing the membership type.

An Option 2 card is available to Stockton residents and non-residents aged over 60.
We require proof of age for this membership type, therefore you will need to visit the venue to make payment and show your ID. Once you have joined you will be able to register for an online account and book all your favourite activities online from the comfort of your home, over the phone or in person at any of our venues.
An option 3 card is available to Stockton-on-Tees residents who are in receipt of social benefits, offering discounts on many of our activities and services. We will need to view proof of this therefore this option can only be purchased within one of our venues. Once you have received your card you can create an online account and begin booking all your favourite activities online where the discounted rate will be automatically applied.
You must be in receipt of one of the following benefits to choose this option and notification of entitlement or proof of universal credit will will be required.

Tees Active is home to Activ8 Health and Fitness, Stockton’s leading fitness provider offering members access to 4 gyms, 4 swimming pools and the area’s biggest selection of fitness classes. Activ8 specialise in low-cost gym memberships and our modern club environments offer the same industry-leading equipment and state-of-the-art fitness facilities as a private health provider, but without the large price tag.

The Option 3 choice is available to Stockton-on-Tees residents who are in receipt of any of the benefits listed below. Supporting documentation will need to be shown as proof of benefit and must be shown when applications are submitted – all documentation must be dated within the last six months to be valid. If applying for a Family Card under this option and there are 2 adults, both must produce proof of benefit documentation. Please note that child tax credit is not a qualifying benefit. All cards where proof is required will be valid until the end date given on the proof provided and a calendar year will be the maximum duration any card is valid for.

On Friday 21st August the Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak, along with local MP Matt Vickers, visited the new IB Leisure facility at Ingleby Barwick.
Tees Active opened its latest venue on Monday 10th August, a brand new leisure centre in the heart of Ingleby Barwick – IB Leisure!

Stockton’s leisure centres have donated over £1000 worth of confectionery from their cafés and vending machines to support frontline staff at The University Hospital of North Tees and James Cook University Hospital.
