Thornaby Pavilion is located at the heart of Thornaby town centre and is a modern, spacious facility that offers a wide variety of activities and services for the whole community. From our modern fitness club and indoor bowls rink to badminton, squash and the Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ TreeTops Nursery, we really do have something for everyone.
Thornaby Pavilion has been serving the local community for over 40 years and really is the beating heart of the town centre. The venue is centred around its spacious and versatile sports hall. This multi-use area is a Badminton centre of excellence and offers activities such as 5-a-side, gymnastics, fitness classes and private functions. Due to its size, the sports hall is also utilised as a count venue for local and general elections.
The Pavilion, as it is known locally, is also home to the much loved, Club 55, an exciting community project that tackles social isolation and promotes health and wellbeing amongst the older generation.
