Swimming is one of the nation’s best loved leisure activities, and for good reason! It’s very affordable, widely accessible and offers heaps of fun for all the family. Generations of Stockton residents have been making waves and splashes in our swimming pools, and that’s the greatest part…from mum and dad to nana and grandpa, you name it, they can all come along and join in the action! Across our 4 pools we offer some of the wettest and wildest days out in the Tees Valley, choose from flumes and wave machines, to giant inflatables and aqua gliders. There’s so much to choose from at our swimming pools in Stockton Splash, Billingham Forum, IB Leisure and Thornaby Pool. Dive in and see what we have to offer.

Members can book fitness classes up to 8 days in advance. Non-members can book 7 days in advance.
Laned Swim: A swim session for any age of swimmer who want to swim lengths for health, fitness or to simply relax. Swimmers under 14 years of age must be accompanied in the water by an adult and be confident and capable of swimming lengths.
Public Swim: A general swimming session open to all. No water features, no floats are available at these sessions. Lanes may be available.
Big Splash: Our Big Splash sessions offers the ultimate fun swimming experience for all the family. The wave machine, flumes and water features operate during these sessions. *Although we try our best, we can’t guarantee all features will be in operation*
Swim Fun Floats: A fun session where you can enjoy the water as a family with a range of floats and toys available to play with. All children, regardless of age must be accompanied in the water by at least one adult for this session.
Family Night Big Splash: Our Family Night Big Splash session offers the ultimate fun swimming experience for all the family. The wave machine, flumes and water features operate during these sessions. All children, regardless of age must be accompanied in the water by at least one adult for this session. *Although we try our best, we can’t guarantee all features will be in operation*
Inflatables: This session is great fun for children while helping to build confidence and stamina in the water! Race against friends along the giant pool inflatable avoiding the obstacles to see if you can reach the end. Children should be able to swim 25 metres confidently for this session. If they can’t, they need to be accompanied by an adult in the water on a 1-2-1 basis, regardless of their age.
