Girls Are World Class
Thornaby Pavilion was once again the venue for another successful sporting event as over 150 girls competed in the Stockton Schools Girls World Cup organised by Tees Active. 20 teams consisting of Year 5 and Year 6 girls aged between 9 and 11 represented countries that will be competing at this year World Cup in South Africa. The teams were divided into 2 groups with the top 4 teams from each group qualifying for the Knock out phase of the competition. After some tense and well contested games...
