It’s back to the home workouts for the time being!

Yesterday’s government announcement really wasn’t the news any of us wanted to hear, or were expecting, and unfortunately the new restrictions mean our centres will close from Thursday 5th November and remain closed until the lockdown ends. All activities and lessons will run as normal over the coming days until the venues close from Thursday.
We’ve had lots of messages that we are working through and understandably you have lots of questions. Firstly, the same process will apply as in the previous lockdown…all memberships and lessons will automatically be frozen free of charge and no direct debit payments will be taken whilst our venues are closed. This is an automatic process and no action is required from you.
All lesson places will remain secure until we reopen. If you have paid up front for any membership, the period of the closure will be added to the end of your contract. We will also contact customers directly who have bookings planned to rearrange to an alternative date or provide a full refund. If your bank has already processed your 1st November payment, your first payment back will be updated to reflect this. Please be assured that we’ll take care of everything for you and there is nothing for you to do.
Secondly…of course we will be offering lots of fun and motivating ways to stay active at home throughout November! We’ll be working hard over the coming days to create as much content as possible to add to the home workout hub and exploring new ways to keep you all moving and grooving during lockdown.
Importantly, we will also be updating the FAQs across all of our websites to ensure they reflect the latest government update, so please ensure you check the relevant website first to ensure the quickest response.
Lastly, we would like to express how deeply saddened we were to hear that leisure services were not deemed ‘essential’, even with the growing support and rising demand across the UK to keep gyms and leisure centres open. It’s abundantly clear how much physical activity supports our mental wellbeing and helps us to stay healthy, and we are overwhelmed by the support and positivity we have received since reopening, this really has been our motivation over the last few months and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back as soon as possible. Our industry has been united in its efforts to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors, so we must say a huge well done to all the leisure providers out there, big or small, we’ll be back before you know it to support our communities.
Please keep checking our social media channels for up to date information.
Stay safe, stay active
