Developed by ukactive in collaboration with sector leaders including Sport England and CIMSPA, The Active Standard is a nationally recognised quality mark that sets the benchmark for operational standards in the physical activity sector. Tees Active’s achievement reflects its dedication to creating safe, inclusive, and resilient environments that empower communities to lead healthier lives.
The certification process involved a rigorous 40-point assessment covering risk management, safeguarding, data protection, and compliance with UK law. Tees Active’s successful completion places it among the leading operators in the UK committed to raising the bar in public health and leisure services.
