SWIM THE TEES UPDATE
Hi all Swim the Tees competitors!
This is the final week of the Swim the Tees challenge!
Well done for taking part in the challenge. I hope it has been a worthwhile experience for you all. I hope that it has got you hooked on the joys of swimming (if you weren’t already!). If you still have a few more lengths to go, GET A MOVE ON!!!! You only have until this Sunday (Sunday 30th March) to complete the challenge.
If you are collecting sponsorship money, please remember that all money must be collected and handed in at your venue no later than Sunday 27th April 2014.
Swimming Top Tip: varying your strokes uses different muscles so you get an all round work out. You may think you know how to demonstrate all kinds of swimming strokes because you learnt them years ago, but are you doing it right? It’s possible your techniques not up to scratch. Check out the guidance on Swimfit to improve your stroke technique.
Again I like to congratulate you on taking part in the challenge. It is a fantastic acomplishment and I can’t stress enough how beneficial swimming is for you. It is a fantastic source of exercise that works all of the body’s muscles. It is also very unique to most aerobic activities as the body is put under very little stress so it is a great way to keep fit and keep all your muscles moving regularly.
