As we step into February, it’s shaping up to be a busy and meaningful month as we prepare to support the British Heart Foundation during Heart Month. This is an important opportunity to raise awareness about heart health, encourage discussions around prevention, and contribute to funding vital research that can save lives. Throughout the month, we’ll be raising awareness across our leisure centres, including our 1 million step challenge, drop-in health sessions, and fundraising activities, all designed to bring our community together in support of this cause. With so much planned, we’re excited to do our part in making a real difference in the fight against heart disease, and we encourage everyone to get involved and show their support.
We understand and appreciate that not everyone will be in a position to make a financial donation, but we’d encourage everyone to share our posts on social media to help raise awareness and spread the message. For those who would like to make a contribution, you can do so via the buckets displayed around our venues or via Tees Active’s Just Giving Page here.
