Party Room Guidelines
- If you have booked a room for food you can access 15 minutes before the time of your allocated eating time to set up, the room will be locked, and all items will be left at your own risk
- The Activity room can have a maximum 50 children (60 children at Splash – 30 per studio dependant on party package; 60 for Billingham Forum).
- There are highchairs available upon request.
- Tables and chairs will be provided for you to self-cater.
- Any equipment for personal use or entertainment not provided by the venue must be authorised in advance by the Centre Management team. Any electrical equipment must hold a current PAT certificate.
- When decorating the party room, no decorations are to be stuck to the walls – decorations to be on the tables only.
- If you require any assistance prior to, or during your party, please contact the Reception team.
- Hot & cold drinks can be purchased from the vending machines or cafe.
- Plain wax candles only to be used on birthday cakes. No sparkling candles can be used due to interference with venue fire systems.
Soft Play + Bouncy Castle Splash Guidelines
- The maximum number of children permitted in the play area is 30
- No food and drink to be consumed in the soft play area.
- Ensure all footwear (excluding socks) are removed before playing on the soft play.
- Make sure any sharp objects are removed before playing in the soft play area.
- Spectacles can only be worn in the play areas if they have a retaining strap and have shatterproof lenses.
- Clothes with ropes/tassels on are not to be worn in the play areas.
- Only children under the age of 8 years can play in the structure.
- A minimum of 2 adults are required to supervise in the soft play area when party/group bookings take place.
- No face paints allowed whilst using the soft play area.
- Access behind the inflatable structure is prohibited at all times.
- Only provided soft play equipment can be used.
- Customers are responsible for the safeguarding of their personal effects when using this area.
BioBounce Guidelines
- Ages 4 – 13
- Up to 40 guests
- No food and drink to be consumed in the soft play area.
- Ensure all footwear (excluding socks) are removed before playing on the soft play.
The Reef and Play Barn Guidelines
- The maximum number of children permitted in the play area is 30 at PlayBarn and 28 at The Reef
- No food and drink to be consumed in the soft play area.
- Ensure all footwear (excluding socks) are removed before playing on the soft play.
- Make sure any sharp objects are removed before playing in the soft play area.
- Spectacles can only be worn in the play areas if they have a retaining strap and have shatterproof lenses.
- Clothes with ropes/tassels on are not to be worn in the play areas.
- Children are not allowed to climb on the side walls/side nets of the PlayBarn structure at Billingham Forum.
- No prams & pushchairs allowed in the soft play area at The Reef
- Only children under the age of 5 years can play in the structure at The Reef, under 8’s at The PlayBarn
- Maximum height for children using PlayBarn at Billingham Forum is 4’ 10” (148cm)
- A minimum of 2 adults are required to supervise in the soft play area when party/group bookings take place.
- No face paints allowed whilst using the soft play area.

Big Splash Pool Party Guidelines
- A ratio 1 adult to 2 children under 8yrs of age in the pool water irrelevant of swimming ability.
- A ratio of 1 adult to 15 children age 8 years and over in the pool water.
- We strongly advise that if the child is not a strong swimmer that they must be accompanied by an adult in the pool and wear floatation aids.
- Arrive in a timely manner to change in preparation for your party.
- No flippers or facemasks allowed in the pool.
- A maximum of 120 people is allowed in the pool during a session.
- Any participants who may have any medical conditions must inform Duty Manager.
- Riders must be over 1m the ride The Swell flume.
- Small children under 1m may ride The Surf flume seated on an adult’s knee only.
- When waves are in operation, no swimmers can go beyond the flags in the deep end.
- Participants can use all pools and features in the pool hall during the party.
Pool Inflatable (Rapid Racer, Thornado & Aquaconda) Guidelines
- A ratio 1 adult to 2 children under 8yrs of age in the pool water irrelevant of swimming ability.
- A ratio of 1 adult to 15 children age 8 years and over in the pool water.
- We strongly advise that if the child is not a strong swimmer that they must be accompanied by an adult in the pool and wear floatation aids.
- Arrive in a timely manner to change in preparation for your party.
- No flippers or facemasks allowed in the pool.
- Under 16yrs of age only allowed on the inflatable.
- A maximum amount of people allowed in the pool inflatable during a session is 50. 60 at Billingham Forum.
- A 2 min safety brief will take place by the lifeguards before the party session.
- Any participants who may have any medical conditions must inform Duty Manager.
Mega Mayhem Pool Party Guidelines
- A ratio 1 adult to 2 children in the pool water irrelevant of swimming ability.
- This party is strictly for children aged between 4-year-old and 8-year-old.
- Arrive in a timely manner to change in preparation for your party.
- No Flippers or facemasks allowed in the pool.
- A maximum of 45 people is allowed in the session.
- A 2 min safety brief will take place by the lifeguards before the party session.
- Any participants who may have any medical conditions must inform duty manager.
- Under 8’s must be accompanied in the water by an adult at a ratio of 1:2.
Water Wonders Toddler Party Guidelines
- Suitable for ages 1 -8 years.
- A ratio 1 adult to 2 children under 8yrs of age in the pool water irrelevant of swimming ability.
- We strongly advise that if the child is not a strong swimmer that they wear floatation aids.
- Arrive in a timely manner to change in preparation for your party.
- A maximum of 20 people is allowed in the pool during a session.
- Any participants who may have any medical conditions must inform Duty Manager.
- Participants are to remain in the Teaching Pool for the duration of the party – they can not use all pools.
Fun Floats Guidelines
- A maximum of 50 guests.
- Under 8’s must be accompanied in the water by an adult at a ratio of 1:2.
- Arrive in a timely manner to change in preparation for your party.
- No Flippers or facemasks allowed in the pool.
- A 2 min safety brief will take place by the lifeguards before the party session.
- Any participants who may have any medical conditions must inform duty manager.
Ice Skating Guidelines
- Party to arrive 15 minutes before start of party for skate fitting.
- 4 stability penguins included in party price – additional penguins available to hire, subject to availability.
- Ratio of 1 adult to 15 guests.
- Children under the age of 5 years to be accompanied on the ice pad at all times by a responsible adult (aged 16 +).
- Suitable for ages 3+.
GoClimb Guidelines
- Up to 24 guests.
- Session includes safety briefing and fitting of harnesses.
- Suitable for ages 4+.
- We only allow trainers to be worn whilst climbing and do not allow boots, climbing shoes, flip-flops or heeled shoes in the climbing zone.
- All footwear must be clean and free from dirt before entering the climbing arena.
- Participants wearing glasses must ensure they are secure.
- No chewing gum, food or drinks are allowed in the climbing arena.
Air Trail Guidelines
- A maximum of 56 guests
- Must be over 1.2 metres in height
- Air Trail supervision ratio is 1 adult: 2 children.
- All participants must be able to understand and demonstrate knowledge of the safety rules to participate without an adult supervisor.
- Participants must weigh less than 136kg (21st 4lb) and be no taller than 6’8 (207cm).
- All participants must be healthy and in good physical condition. Please inform a member of staff if you have a medical condition that may compromise your safety or that of other users.
- Shoes must be securely fastened to participant’s feet and have closed toes. Flip flops, crocs & sandals are not permitted.
- No food, sweets or gum allowed to be consumed whilst participating on the course.
Watersports Guidelines
- Participants must be 8+ years old.
- A maximum of 24 guests.
- Participants must be confident in and around water.
