Splash Reiterates It's Policy
SPLASH in Stockton would like to reiterate its public swimming policy in view of a spate of recent enquiries.
Children under eight years old must be accompanied by an older person of sixteen years or over - with the ratio being one adult to two children.
Currently the statement relating to children under five years of age, published in the Splash swimming leaflet, says ‘If children are under 5 the ratio is 1 adult to 1 child”, however, this should be disregarded.
Manager of Splash Emma Williams said: “We have had several enquiries asking us about ages of children who need to be accompanied when visiting Splash and we would like to clarify the policy to those who may be unsure.”
The Management of Splash would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
