Prize's for Priors Mill!

As part of Stockton on Tees Teaching PCT childhood obesity prevention strategy 10,000 free leisure saver cards have been made available to 3-16 year olds within Stockton.Tees Active, added the incentive of a £250 prize to be used for sports equipment or services to the primary school and the secondary school with the greatest number of pupils who took advantage of applying for their free leisure saver card, which gives holders discount prices to their local active life centre.
Priors Mill Primary School won their category and received £250 worth of sports equipment including footballs and rugby balls.Lynn Haley, PE Co-ordinator at Priors Mill said "There was a general interest from the children regarding the Leisure Saver Card and using it to take part in the fantastic activities Tees Active offer. We did not realise there was a cash prize involved but the childrens enthusiasm has been rewarded with much needed sports equipment.
