Pretty In Pink

There will definitely be a unique event occurring at Splash swimming pool this Sunday as the 12th June marks the 10th anniversary of the opening of Splash.

To celebrate the 10th birthday the pool water will be turned pink. The Pink Pool Party will take place from 2pm-4.30pm and as well as the unique opportunity of swimming in pink water there will be a disco, games and the chance of winning plenty of prizes with our lucky ducks. Along with the wave machine, fumes and water features it promises to be a spectacular and fun event.

Diane Wilson, Assistant Manager at Splash said” The pink pool party should be really exciting. We’ve never done anything like this before and we’re hoping everybody will come along to enjoy the occasion.”

Diane added” The pool will be totally safe for swimming as the chemical used is hypoallergenic and does not colour skin or clothes. We are in the process of re-developing our programme and I can guarantee there are going to be some new and exciting activities added to our programme over the next few months.”

Emma Ibbertson, Splash Manager said “Splash was opened by Sir Trevor Brooking back in 2001 and has been an incredibly popular facility over the past 10 years. With the development of our dry side facilities 2 years ago we now offer a comprehensive leisure experience to all our valued customers.”
