Work has started on the first phase of the fantastic new development at Thornaby Pavilion. A new purpose built gym will house state-of-the-art equipment from TechnoGym’s latest range.
Tees Active is investing over £500,000 to improve the Pavilion, offering customers all of the modern facilities of a private gym at affordable prices.
The new Activ8 gym has been specifically designed to meet the changing needs of Tees Active customers and follows feedback from gym users. The facility will benefit from being fully air-conditioned, as well as having a fresh contemporary feel.
The new cardiovascular machines - treadmills, cross-trainers, cycles and steppers - have integrated entertainment systems fitted, allowing customers to watch the latest integrated TV’s while they work out. (There will be a piece of equipment to give a total body workout).
The all-new TechnoGym-equipped facility will offer something for anyone wishing to change their lifestyle to include more regular exercise, providing the ideal opportunity for people in the local community to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
