Leanne who plays goal attack for Premier League team Oaksway in Hartlepool will be attending monthly national training camps that will be held at either the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield or at Loughborough University.

The England Squad is currently made up of approximately 15 girls and Leanne will be hoping to impress the selectors during the training camps as she hopes to make the squad of 12 that will attend the annual Netball European Championships in March and a tour to Malta in 2007.

Leanne added, “I know the competition to make the final 12 will be extremely stiff and I will be trying my best to secure a place. If I do it will make all the training and travelling worthwhile.”
