Irish Eyes are Smiling on Marcus
Young wrestling sensation Marcus Sudron returned to the green green grass of home as he had a sensational win in the Emerald Isle.

Thirteen year old Marcus who is a member of Tees Active Sports Academy won the Irish Open Championships at Queens University in Dublin.
Marcus a pupil at Billingham Campus School faced extremely tough opposition from over 100 competitors as he fought in the 46kg Boys Under 14 category.
The tenacious Marcus was fighting against stiff international opposition including his Russian rival Soslan who after a tough final bout, Marcus defeated in the final winning two out of the three rounds.
Marcus, whose training base is Stockton Sports Centre, trains up to four times per week under the watchful eye of his coach and father Mick Sudron, adds the Irish Open title to his British Under 14 title.
A delighted father Mick Sudron said, “Having reviewed the videos of the fight, Marcus fought extremely well against a very tough opponent. The access and use of the Activ8 gyms made available to him through his membership of the Academy means that he is definitely getting stronger. He has also started training with the Judo Club at Billingham Forum which is improving his fitness”.
