Government Removes FREE Swimming Initiative
As you may be aware the Government has announced that as part of its budget reduction exercise the existing free swim initiative which it was funding for under 16’s and the over 60’s will cease from 31st July. Therefore unfortunately from this date onwards the usual prices will apply but there are a number of payment options available to assist you in continuing swimming. These are:
· pay as you go standard rate
· pay as you go Option 2 rate (for over 60’s) and Option 1 and 3 rates for under 16’s
· a monthly all inclusive health and fitness membership which includes swimming
· an annual swim only membership
· a monthly swim only membership
· Early Bird and Lunchtime swim offers
· 5 for 3 swim offer
Whilst the pool programme leaflets are being reprinted the sessions identified as ‘Free Swimming Offer’ will be charged for as above from the 1st of August.
