COME AND GET A TASTE FOR A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
A HUGE assortment of free taster sessions to help everyone maintain a healthier lifestyle, are to be held at Billingham Forum.
On June 5, visitors can go along between 11.00am and 2.00pm and try out Latin in Line, Spinning, Tai Chi, Bums and Tums and Circuits and also find out about organised Health Walks and Guided Cycle Rides.
Display stands will be offering healthy eating advice and there is the opportunity to have blood pressure and body fat percentage measured.
The event is in partnership with Tees Active and Stockton Council’s Sports Development Team and will run in conjunction with Workplace Health, Help a Heart Week and Bike Week.
It is essential to book for the taster sessions on (01642) 551381. Collections will be made on the day for The British Heart Foundation.
Helen Hames, Stockton Council’s Health and Fitness Development Officer, said: ”This is a great opportunity to have a go at a whole range of exercise activities and gain first hand information about how to lead a more healthy lifestyle.”
