Castlegate Quay Watersports Centre has the ideal set up for visiting schools, colleges and youth groups. Situated right on the banks of the Tees we have ideal set up for visiting groups with limited time and resources.
We pride ourselves on the quality of instruction wea re able to offer and our instructional staff are listeners, as well as trainers.
With over 85% of our business coming form schools, we know, in this area we are the leaders in the market place.
The centre is approved by AALA (adventure Activities Licencing Service)
RYA (Royal Yachting Association)
BCU ( British Canoe Union)
You can rest assured that all staff are tarined and qualified in the activity they are teaching, all staff undergo an enhanced crb disclosure before be able to commence employment at the centre. The centre is annually inspected by the relevant govering bodies to check that the centre is operating within the guidelines and remits of it’s licence. All risk assessments and operating procedures are annually inspected and amended as necessary. This takes the reponsiblity away from the school and takes the scare factor out of taking children to learn oputside the classroom.
