CRB Services

Tees Active Limited, as a Registered Body with the Criminal Records Bureau, will act on behalf of unregistered bodies in order that employees and volunteers carrying out work for those bodies may gain a Criminal Record Disclosure Certificate.  It does not include obtaining disclosures for self-employed persons nor third party organisations.

We have six counter signatories available to process CRB forms.

We currently provide a CRB service to the following sectors: Housing, Leisure/Sports, Residential/Care Homes, children’s entertainment and small companies who require CRB checks to work in schools.

Service Standards
In normal circumstances, Tees Active CRB Service will aim to:

•     dispatch disclosure application form packs within 2 working days of a request.

•     process fully completed disclosure application form(s) within 2 working days of receipt.

•     communicate the results of a disclosure within 2 working days of receipt.  

Tees Active CRB Service Fee Information

At the present time, Tees Active CRB Service charges an administration fee of £12.50 per form (plus VAT).  
To supplement a disclosure for working with vulnerable adults, Tees Active CRB Service can also request ISA check, which costs an additional fee of  £6.00 from CRB plus an admin fee of £2.50 (excludes VAT) from Tees Active.
